📍 Location: Hybrid - Middletown, RI preferred, but remote work considered so long as available between 9am-5pm EST.


🔍 Position Overview:

As the Community Lending Officer, a strategic leadership position, you'll spearhead our efforts to reach out to existing and aspiring homeowners in underserved markets, particularly the Latino community, working closely with our loan officers to develop innovative strategies to engage potential homeowners with their financing needs while ensuring compliance with fair housing regulations.


🌟 Responsibilities:

-Develop and execute marketing strategies to reach existing and potential homeowners in underserved markets.

- Collaborate with loan officers to identify outreach opportunities within the Latino housing market and other underserved communities.

- Provide guidance to navigate cultural nuances within the Latino community and other communities.

- Conduct in-depth market research to understand trends and opportunities.

- Act as a liaison with community organizations and advocacy groups.

- Assist in crafting marketing materials and campaigns.

- Provide training on fair housing practices.

- Monitor and evaluate marketing initiatives, offering improvement recommendations.

- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices for serving diverse communities.


🎓 Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.

- Fluency in Spanish preferred buy not required. Bi-lingual proficiency in other languages encouraged as well.

- Prior experience in financial services, marketing, or sales preferred.

- Knowledge of the Latino housing market highly desirable.

- Experience strategically opening up new housing markets as an individual contributor (i.e. loan officer, real estate agent) or in a corporate strategic role as a collaborator.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Familiarity with fair housing regulations.

- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

- Excellent organizational and project management skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications.
