Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client’s facility in Oak Bluffs, MA. This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization


Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and caring Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. If you're passionate about patient care and want to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, we encourage you to apply.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and tests.
  • Take and record patient histories, and vital signs, and assist with patient intake.
  • Schedule patient appointments, manage patient records, and perform data entry.
  • Assist with the collection and processing of lab samples.
  • Maintain and sterilize medical equipment, ensuring all tools are properly prepared.
  • Provide Instruct patients on care plans, treatments, and medication management.
  • Assist with insurance verification, coding, and billing as needed.
  • Work closely with other medical assistants, nurses, and office staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient care.


Qualifications:

  • Must be a Certified Medical Assistant
  • Active BLS Certification


Additional Information:

  • Location: Oak Bluffs, MA
  • Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract
  • Shifts: Days, Monday-Friday, (5*8 Hrs)
  • Pay Range: $800-$1,000 Weekly


*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
