Commercial Project Manager Position – Ground-Up ConstructionLocation: Dallas, TexasIndustry: Commercial Construction | General ContractorA well-established General Contractor in Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead ground-up commercial construction projects. This is a long-term opportunity with a company known for high-quality execution and consistent repeat business.About the Role:The Project Manager will oversee all phases of construction, from preconstruction through project closeout. The ideal candidate will have experience managing commercial ground-up projects ranging from $5M to $25M, possess strong leadership skills, and have the ability to collaborate effectively with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.Key Responsibilities:Lead the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and overall management of assigned construction projectsCoordinate and communicate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clientsManage project financials including cost tracking, forecasting, and change ordersEnsure compliance with plans, specifications, and company standardsOversee project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and contractsMaintain a focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherenceParticipate in project meetings and report on status and progressQualifications:5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a commercial general contractorProven experience managing ground-up commercial construction projectsStrong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, and budgetingProficiency with construction management software (Procore preferred)Ability to lead a project from preconstruction to closeout with minimal oversightExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsPreferred Experience:Experience with commercial retail, office, mixed-use, or light industrial projectsWe are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds, including women, minorities, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.
