Role: DevOps Engineer - Experience Linux and OWC admin
Location: Atlanta,GA / Richmond,VA / Mason,OH / Houston,TX
Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation: Design and implement event sourcing strategies and administer enterprise-wide messaging architecture.
- Cluster Management: Deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor Kafka clusters to ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance.
- Security: Implement security measures to protect Kafka clusters and data.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize Kafka performance and troubleshoot issues related to Kafka brokers, topics, and consumers.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Provide daily management and monitoring of the Kafka ecosystem, including health checks and performance metrics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and other teams to integrate Kafka with various applications and systems.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Kafka configurations, processes, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 6+ years of experience as a Kafka Administrator.
