Audiovisual Field Service Engineer

Location: Media, PA

We are currently seeking an Audiovisual Commissioning Engineer for one of the top 3 AV integrators in the Northeast You'll be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining electronic audio/visual equipment to ensure maximum performance and minimal downtime. You'll thrill clients with seamless system operation, and collaborate closely with our dynamic Technical Operations team, contributing to exhilarating installations and system commissioning tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Field Commissioning of AV Systems and other Engineering-related duties.
• The final commissioning of audio-visual equipment, including, but not limited to audio DSPs, CODECs, switchers, control systems, VTC systems, and video processors.
• Create user guides and train end users on how to use their A/V control systems.
• Refine current processes, develop a better workflow, and make recommendations.
• Work closely with the Technical Operations team, the Installation Manager, and the Manager of AV Integration while assuring a professional and safe working environment.
• Other duties as required or assigned by company management.

Requirements:

• Formal education in Electronics or related fields preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of AV experience is preferred with Crestron, NVX, QSC, Q-Sys, Biamp, Extron, AMX, ClearOne, Dante, Shure
• A four-year degree or military experience may be considered in place of job experience.
• Experience with Enterprise VC solutions (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Bluejeans, Cisco Telepresence, etc.) both hardware and software.
• AVIXA General CTS (Certified Technical Specialist) is preferred.
• Travel to client sites as well as occasional out-of-town travel may be required.
