We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Lab Technician to join our Complaint Investigations Lab in Alameda, CA. The Technician will play a crucial role in investigating returned products to resolve customer complaints related to blood glucose meters, strips, and sensors. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work effectively in a team setting, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Safely unpack boxes and sort returned products by product lines.
- Investigate returned products to resolve customer complaints, utilizing troubleshooting equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, test fixtures, and microscopes.
- Document complaint investigations accurately and thoroughly in the Complaint Handling System.
- Utilize basic computer skills to navigate internet programs, perform data entry, and maintain documentation.
- Follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) with precision.
- Maintain focus while performing repetitive and routine investigations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) required.
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant science field preferred.
- Recent college graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related subject will be considered.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and internet navigation.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English proficiently.
- Experience in the Medical Device/Biotech Industry preferred.
- Knowledge of electronic troubleshooting techniques preferred.
- Strong documentation skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, inspection, or assembly roles is advantageous.
- Must be able to work onsite in Alameda, CA and adhere to the specified schedule.
