Construction Superintendent

Job Title: Construction Superintendent - Multifamily Projects

RISE Residential Construction, a leading multifamily construction and development company based in Texas, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Superintendent to oversee our projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing all day-to-day job site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee, manage and direct all day-to-day job site activities for multifamily construction projects

• Complete daily logs, maintain key activity logs (inspections, concrete pours, deliveries, etc.), files and shop drawings, including taking and uploading daily progress photos

• Be familiar with and actively use Procore to support daily roles

• Review plans, specifications, bulletins, modifications, sketches, ASIs, RFIs, and be thoroughly familiar with all project documents

• Prepare Project Plan and collaborate with PM on developing Construction Management Plan and Logistics Plan

• Direct field personnel according to plans and company policies & procedures

• Communicate issues, events, performance and progress daily to the Project Team

• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors

• Develop and maintain project schedule and 3 Week Look Ahead Schedule

• Ensure all work meets contract requirements and client expectations

• Conduct municipal inspections and develop logs for inspections and permits

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

• Provide subcontractor oversight and site management

• Manage material procurement, deliveries, and condition

• Administer weekly subcontractor meetings, including producing meeting minutes using Procore, and attend OAC meetings

• Maintain current construction documents including As-Builts

• Assist with scope of work, T&M, RFIs, submittals and identifying out of scope items

• Obtain required permits from local, state and federal agencies

• Report problems promptly to Project Team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5-10 years experience in multifamily or commercial construction
• Be knowledgeable of Procore and/or be willing to learn and utilize Procore in the execution of their daily role(s) & deliverables
• Proficient with MS Office, MS Project and Procore construction management software
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task, handle competing priorities and make confident decisions
• Clean driving record and reliable vehicle
• Professional, hardworking, and committed to high quality
