Litigation Paralegal

A fast growing and mid-sized law firm in Tysons Corner that specializes in construction and real estate law is looking for a talented and career-minded paralegal with civil litigation experience to join their team.

Essential functions:

• Assisting with case management by managing client files using Clio software and managing client communication with Microsoft Outlook software
• Assisting with case management by preparing and maintaining client records using Microsoft Excel and Word software
• Assisting with case management by preparing reports, summaries, and legal documents as needed
• Assist in preparing court documentation, litigation binders (Bates numbering) and briefs
• Assist in preparing briefs, exhibits, discovery, discovery responses, etc. for cases
• Assist in preparing Warrant in Debt, Garnishment and Affidavit documents
• Supporting client contact and interaction
• Assisting in all aspects of filings, including preparation of exhibits, copying, scanning etc.
• General attorney and practice group support as required

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• 3+ years of paralegal experience
• Civil Litigation Experience
• The desire to take on more and more responsibilities and projects as the firm continues to grow at a lightning fast pace
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

A bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required.
