Maintenance Technician - Weekend Shift

Our client in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing industry is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team in Bethlehem, PA for a weekend shift. This is a direct hire opportunity with a dynamic work schedule.

Shift: Thursday - Sunday; 4x10’s (10 hours each)

Hours: 5pm-7am

Pay: $25-$33/hr ( OT eligible).


Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues related to pumps, electrical systems, motors, and valves.

Conduct maintenance on chillers, boilers, air compressors, and driers.

Perform basic welding tasks as needed.

Maintain process equipment, tanks, and reactors.


Requirements:

High school graduate with 5+ years of maintenance experience (flexible for strong candidates with 3 years of experience).

Journeyman or apprentice status is acceptable.

Strong troubleshooting mindset with logical thinking.

Ability to work independently and as a team player.

Basic knowledge of electricity, distinguishing between mechanical parts, switches, and valves.


Work Environment:

Immediate start with a 2-3 week training period on weekdays.

No travel is required.

Overtime opportunities during shutdowns, with the flexibility for additional hours.

Exposure to the chemical industry, focusing on piping and reactors.

Pharmaceutical experience is not mandatory; distribution center or packaging experience is not a fit.
