This crucial role inside our IT organization ensures that high-quality, impactful technology solutions are deployed to the business. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a passion for ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. It also requires meticulous attention to detail, a keen analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills while offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the success of our projects.


YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

  • with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
  • thorough business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • system requirements, documents business needs and determines development impact to current system processing. Work with programmers and users to ensure accuracy of requirements.
  • with programming resources (in house and third party) to ensure development work is completed to specification.

Quality Assurance:

  • comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements and design documents.
  • test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
  • integration testing, regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • and document defects, work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

Process Improvement:

  • assess and improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • recommendations for process enhancements and best practices.
  • with team members to implement process improvements and drive organizational change.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • accurate documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.
  • and distribute reports on QA metrics, including test coverage, defect density, and test execution progress.
  • QA status and findings to project stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements.
  • in project meetings, reviews, and retrospectives to provide QA insights and recommendations.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE ELIGIBLE

  • degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • years proven experience in software quality assurance and business analysis roles.
  • understanding of project management principles, software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
  • with test management and performance management tools such as Jira, TestRail, Selenium, HP ALM, JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • be a team player with the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • certifications (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester, CBAP, PMP) are a plus.

OTHER COMPETENCIES/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Supply Chain / Manufacturing/Finance industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of ERP Modules – Distribution, Manufacturing, Finance
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to clearly document processes and administration activities for team use.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

Normal office and warehouse environment. Position may require individual to occasionally work extended hours or weekends as required by responsibilities of position and/or occasionally be on call or available by phone to answer support questions in emergencies.
