THE ROLE & JOB FUNCTIONS


The Sr. Manager, Experiential Production role at C11 Marketing will oversee the planning, execution, and management of large-scale projects and programs. This role requires extensive experience in event management, with a focus on operational efficiency, logistics coordination, vendor management and production excellence. The successful candidate will ensure seamless delivery of all logistical and operational components, coordinating with multiple stakeholders to meet the highest standards of performance and safety.


Duties include:


  • Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to define event objectives, scope, and requirements.
  • Developing detailed production schedules and timelines for event setup, execution, and teardown.
  • Coordinating site visits, venue selection, and liaising with vendors, sponsors, and partners.
  • Creating and managing event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
  • Negotiating with vendors, suppliers, and venues to optimize pricing and manage contracts.
  • Overseeing vendor deliverables, timelines, and quality control to ensure they meet the event’s needs.
  • Building strong relationships with third-party providers for long-term collaboration.
  • Supervising a team of event coordinators, production crew, volunteers, and vendors during pre-event setup, live event management, and post-event breakdown.
  • Delegating tasks and providing guidance to ensure that all aspects of the production are covered.
  • Leading team meetings and on-site walk-throughs to ensure alignment on event goals and expectations.
  • Managing logistics such as transportation, on-site equipment setup, and coordination of event staff.
  • Developing contingency plans to address potential risks or problems (e.g., weather, technical issues).
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations (as needed), permits, and venue requirements.
  • Overseeing the technical aspects of event production, including audio, video, lighting, staging, and special effects.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the event.
  • Managing expectations and keeping stakeholders updated on progress, changes, and challenges.
  • Overseeing the execution of the event from setup to teardown, ensuring everything runs according to plan.
  • Managing the flow of the event, addressing any on-the-spot issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Ensuring that timelines are adhered to, and all elements of the event come together smoothly.
  • Compiling post-event reports, analyzing outcomes, and identifying areas for improvement.

 

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising or similar
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in event production and experiential marketing
  • 3-5 years demonstrated team management experience
  • Proven problem-solving, troubleshooting, and solutions skills
  • Adept at building relationships and working in a team environment
  • Proficiency in project management and proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to effectively manage numerous programs and resources simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with large consumer brands, as well as experience and knowledge working in sport (preference for soccer-specific experience)
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Prior agency experience is highly preferred
  • Must have professional appearance and persona, strong work ethic and a positive, solution-oriented approach
  • Willing and able to work nonstandard hours, weekends and travel as necessary
  • Fluent Spanish speaker, with strong verbal and written communication skills is preferred
