Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical and engineering support and guidance to on-site teams
  • Develops procedures relating to mechanical operations, design, and maintenance
  • Create, modify, review, and maintain designs/drawings/specifications regarding artificial lift products, utilizing computer software
  • Excellent math skills
  • Perform engineering calculations to support design work
  • Undertakes in-depth analyses/studies of problems and identifies longer-term solutions and/or options
  • Reviews and comments on supplier information, and assists with specification and ordering of materials and equipment, and inspection and testing activities
  • Develop testing processes, and conduct testing and validation of new designs, and provide test results
  • Produce budgets and plans for specific studies or modifications, and manages the cost control process
  • Undertakes general Project Engineering studies and activities
  • Ability to interpret standards such as API and NACE
  • Coordinate and collaborate with manufacturing, production control and sales department as required
  • Ensures activities comply with relevant industry/company codes and standards
  • Reports any breaches of safety procedures to supervision / management
  • Actively participates in and promotes company health and safety campaigns, policies, and procedures, and ensures personal safety and that of colleagues at all times
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Other duties as assigned or as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • CAD Experience: 2 years minimum
  • Oil and Gas Industry Experience: 5 years minimum
  • Experience with Plunger Lift (Artificial Lift): 5 years minimum
  • Designed machined parts, assemblies, test stands (Plunger Lift related)
  • Welding specifications experience (preferred)


Must pass background screening and pre-employment drug test.
