Job Description:

As a Civil Engineer with SALT, you will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and implementation of projects that ensure the efficient and sustainable management of water resources. Your responsibilities will include:

·        Designing and overseeing the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities

·        Developing plans for water distribution and wastewater collection systems

·        Conducting feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments

·        Collaborating with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders

·        Preparing detailed engineering reports and technical documentation

·        Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

·        Professional Engineering (P.E.) license

·        Minimum of 8 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering

·        Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design tools)

·        Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to water and wastewater systems

·        Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

·        Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

·        Experience with hydraulic modeling software

·        Project management experience
