Logistics Coordinator

Alaska Remote Imaging’s logistics coordinator position with a specialization in travel scheduling is responsible for managing and coordinating all travel-related logistics for the organization. This role involves organizing transportation, accommodations, and itineraries for team members, ensuring efficient and smooth travel operations under the guidance of the operations manager and in support of operations. This position is either in office or remote and ranges from 10-30 hours per week.


Key Responsibilities

· Planning and scheduling travel arrangements for team members, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation

· Coordinating travel logistics for multiple individuals, considering preferences and requirements

· Managing travel budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effective solutions along with tracking and reporting on real-time changes.

· Communicating travel itineraries and updates to relevant parties

· Handling last-minute changes or cancellations to travel plans

· Collaborating with agencies and individuals to secure bookings and resolve issues

· Providing support for travel insurance and other travel-related documentation

· Assisting with travel-related paperwork and expense reports

· Research logistics options and provide for build-out of logistics quotes for pricing purposes

Special Skills

· Excellent communication skills to liaise with travelers, vendors, and internal stakeholders

· Strong organizational abilities to manage complex travel schedules and arrangements
