Lead API Developer

6 month contract to perm



Lead API Developer Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership in building and managing API Governance tools.
  • Serve as a lead developer and resource within the Digital Experience team.
  • Support project workloads as requested by business, marketing, and IT departments.
  • Offer thought leadership and technical guidance to engineers, architects, and business analysts.
  • Drive forward development and feature design/discovery processes.



Lead API Developer Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with Node.js.



Lead API Developer Preferred Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience with Azure, including:
  • API Management (APIM)
  • Application Gateway
  • Azure Functions (Node.js)
  • Key Vault
  • Storage Account
  • Virtual Network (VNET)
  • Application Insights
  • Experience leading development teams.
  • Relevant, industry-recognized technical certifications.
  • Experience with Azure cloud and virtual development.




The hourly pay rate range for this position is $60.00 to $70.00(dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits. *Note: Disclosure as required by the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (CO), NYC Pay Transparency Law, and sb5761 (WA)
