We have several immediate openings for a Sports Medicine Physical Therapist, who is comfortable supporting Physicians as well as day-to-day operations, that allows the practice to operate at the highest level
Responsibilities/Duties:
•Screens patients regularly to determine the need for additional intervention/treatment and/or modifications.
• Evaluates patients to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
• Interprets data, formulates goals and treatment plans and incorporates patient, family and other team members into the treatment plan's coordination and throughout treatment.
• Provides physical therapy services to patients and in accordance with PT guidelines for professional practice and per clinic policy.
• Monitors patient’s response to intervention and modify treatment as indicated to attain goals in accordance with treatment plan and physician orders.
• Participates in patient, family and staff education and provides in-service education to the members of the patient’s care team as needed.
• Provides clinical information promptly about safety and functional needs as required.
• Develops appropriate home or community programming to maintain and enhance the performance of the patient in their own environment.
• Documents results of patient’s assessment, treatment, follow-up and termination of services.
• Ensures the implementation, compliance, and monitoring of the Infection Control Program following all policies, procedures and safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Locations have New Equipment and will consider new grads
- Gloucester, MA (1 need)
Location is near the beach, team often goes to the beach on Fri after 11am
- Newburyport, MA (2 needs)
Location is 5 miles from New Hampshire
- Peabody, MA (1 need)
This location sees about 60 patients/week and can work 4x10s
- Greenwich, CT (3 needs)
Must have CT/NY PT License and prior experience
- Stamford, CT & Wilton, CT (1 need)
Must be willing to commute throughout both locations.
Will consider a new grad or experience
Qualifications: (Massachusetts)
• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited DPT school/program - New grads welcome.
• One year of physical therapy experience, medical office experience preferred.
• Active PT license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Massachusetts.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Ability to identify and implement components of the physical therapy process.
• Ability to Identify and learn needs and teach patients and families.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, insurance regulations, policies, procedures and other regulatory policies.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations
Qualifications: (Connecticut)
•Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited DPT school/program - New grads welcome. (ONLY in Stamford & Wilton)
•.One year of physical therapy experience, medical office experience preferred.
• Active Physical Therapy license or eligibility to become licensed in CT or NY (transferable).
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills required.
• Ability to identify and implement components of the physical therapy process
• Ability to Identify and learn needs and teach patients and families.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
•Familiarity with HIPAA, insurance regulations, policies, procedures and other regulatory policies.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
