Robert Half is working with a prominent AV-Rated Law Firm in search of an Attorney with a with a genuine interest in law, equipped with the skill sets necessary for our civil litigation department.

Position Requirements:


In this position you will:

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitration hearings related to civil matters.
  • Research and argue motions, depositions, and interrogatories.
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses.
  • Develop litigation strategies tailored to each case, considering the best course of action to achieve successful outcomes for clients.
  • Conduct investigation and legal discovery to gather relevant information for each case.
  • Analyze and interpret laws, rulings and regulations with probable case outcomes for informing clients.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients about their legal rights and obligations.
  • Negotiate settlements to resolve disputes in favor of their clients.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of all legal activities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, keeping them informed of case progress.
  • Stay updated on current legislation and case law pertinent to practice area.
  • Adhere to a high level of professionalism and ethical standards.




The ideal candidate:

  • Must be licensed and maintain good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Highly competent in law and motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Strong skills in research, writing, and oral advocacy.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively and independently.
  • Experience in construction law is advantageous.
