Buyer Planner

This position will coordinate purchasing, delivery, and distribution of supplies. This role supports the overall success of the production scheduling, purchasing, planning, and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute production schedules or work orders for departments according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times
• Perform physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy of inventory levels
• Order supplies for production use
• Collaborate with suppliers to verify lead times, routes and deliveries of materials
• Input delivery paperwork, such as invoices, into electronic database
• Determine materials need based on production schedules, customer forecasts, and current inventory

Qualifications

• 3+ years procurement experience within an manufacturing environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
