Due to continued growth, we are seeking an IT Operations Manager (MSP) to lead a team of 6 ranging from L1 through L3. As a IT Operations Manager (MSP), you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of our MSP and providing strategic insight for overall business growth. The IT Operations Manager (MSP) will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the service technicians, managing project workflows, and collaborating closely with the owner to ensure the smooth functioning and growth of the business.

IT Operations Manager (MSP) Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide management and oversight to service technicians daily activities, ensuring efficient and timely completion of client requests and support tickets.
  • When required, coordinate and prioritize technician schedules to optimize resource utilization and meet client service level agreements.
  • Act as a liaison between service technicians and clients, ensuring clear communication and resolution of any service-related issues.
  • Develop business proposals and associated project estimates/schedules; manage project workflows from initiation to completion, including planning, resource allocation, tracking, and reporting.
  • Implement and maintain operational processes and procedures to improve efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • During project execution, be present on site to monitor service delivery and project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of service technicians, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning.
  • Work closely with the owner to develop and execute strategic initiatives aimed at business growth and expansion.
  • Represent the company professionally in client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
