Position Description:

​TechPride seeks a Sr-level project manager who possesses equally- developed skills and proven success in Acquisition Program related business operations, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement to work within an Acquisition organization within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS):

  • role serves DHS leadership, including Managing Directors, Technical Directors, and Associate Directors.
  • role serves as an alternate to, and as the right-hand support for, the Managing / Technical Directors leading the office.
  • role also delivers Acquisition Program project management, business operations, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement planning and execution. ​​


Responsibilities:

  • strategic and operations coordination support, advice and input to client Directors.
  • and track requirements for organization – identify gaps in organizational capabilities and determine innovative technologies to fill identified capability gaps.
  • research and analysis of technology vendors (industry and academia).
  • vendor data call recommendations and solicit, collect, and aggregate data.
  • technology demonstrations and pilots on innovative technologies that fill capability gaps.
  • contract milestones for awarded innovative projects.
  • project management; planning and execution on a range of workstreams.


Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, with experience supporting the government sector
  • Ability to conduct requirements gathering, and organizational capability analysis.
  • Direct client management and interaction within the government sector that has multiple service leads/points-of-contact, operating against multiple strategic business objectives, in a complex, highly technical environment.
  • Experience and comfort level communicating in emails, by phone, in writing and in person with senior executive leadership within the federal government.
  • Technical writing/editorial experience.
  • Fluency with project management tools and methodologies.
  • PMP desired but not required.
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret (TS) Clearance, active TS preferred.
