Entry-Level CAD Technician (Onsite –Springfield, MA)💵 Contract-to-Hire (6 months)🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PMAbout the RoleOur client is seeking an Entry-Level CAD Technician to join their growing team in Springfield, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with exposure to CAD software or a technical trade background who’s eager to start their career in a professional and collaborative environment.In this role, the CAD Technician will assist with creating 2D drawings, wireline diagrams, and bills of materials (BOMs) for major telecom clients.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and update 2D CAD drawings and wireline diagramsCreate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) from parts catalogsCollaborate with purchasing, warehousing, and production teamsEnsure all drawings meet accuracy and quality standardsSupport ongoing project documentation and revisionsQualificationsFamiliarity or experience with any CAD platform (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) — highly preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProfessional communication and office etiquetteGreat attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic — attitude over aptitudeIdeal for recent trade school graduates or those with hands-on drafting experienceIf you’re motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to launch your career as a CAD Technician, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain long-term experience with a supportive and experienced team.
