Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator

Duration: 3-6 months - temp to hire

Pay: $28-35/hr

Must be willing to work in-office at SeaTac admin/hr office. May be able to go hybrid once fully trained but that won't be for at least a couple months.


GENERAL SUMMARY

This role provides administrative support to the Learning & Development Manager and internal stakeholders.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Serves as the main point of contact for Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure data integrity, which includes new user access, assigns appropriate new hire and ongoing compliance trainings, provides reporting to communicate compliance to stakeholders, ensures data integrity. Monitors to ensure employees are compliant with training to support regulatory needs.

2. Primary point of contact to support employees, leaders and stakeholders with troubleshooting, access questions, etc.

3. Supports training needs assessments and curriculum strategies that align with organizational objectives, compliance and development needs/requirements.

4. Collaborates with subject matter experts, L&D manager, and leadership to leverage resources and best practices.

5. Assists or facilitate orientation for new hires.

6. Works with the L&D Manager to share feedback on tools, resources, training, learning experiences, etc.

7. Creates training documents for presentation. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

8. Coordinates, tracks, communicates and markets training calendar, initiatives and events in partnership with L&D Manager and internal communication team.

9. As part of the People Team, analyze and evaluate current work processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Propose recommendations to streamline workflows and enhance productivity. Coordinate with cross functional teams to implement process changes and monitor impact of improvements.

10. Provides support in answering department phone calls and responds successfully with the People Team ticketing system.

11. Supports and participates in People Team and organizational initiatives and strategies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in education, human resources or relevant. Will consider equivalent experience. Must have two (2) years of experience in an administrative support role. Must be proficient in MS Office Suite.

Preference for at least one year of experience in human resources, prior experience with Learning Management Systems such as MedTrainer. Preference for experience with adult learners and/or adult learning theories.
