As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate, self-starting, and effective Inventory Planner to create and own the demand plan for sojo. This is a critical role within sojo, and we’re looking for someone with the drive and creativity to help us build the best operational team in the industry. What we are looking for in our Inventory Planner?
- Maintain the demand planning tools for sojo.
- Report against demand forecasts to actuals.
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for specific new products or services based on historical data, market trends, and partner resources.
- Interpret and combine large disparate datasets into usable demand inputs.
- Identify and remedy sources of error in data sets from manual inputs.
- Analyze and interpret data related to sales, inventory levels, and market trends to identify patterns and insights that can inform demand forecasts.
- Analyze and assess factors that contribute to demand variability, such as seasonality, events, and location to improve forecast accuracy.
- Track and evaluate the accuracy of demand forecasts against actual sales and adjust forecasting models as necessary to improve accuracy.
- Coordinate with marketing and client success to generate and execute new customer and brand planning and ordering.
- Execute purchasing of goods from a diverse vendor base and be a primary point of contact with our manufacturing partners.
- Elevate your skills as we move quickly to grow our product lines and SaaS platform functionality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree. Preferred in a relevant field such as supply chain management, operations management, business, economics, data science, or a related discipline.
- MUST have executed on a demand and supply plan for a company in a rapid growth state.
- MUST be willing to work some nontraditional hours as many of our manufacturing partners are on the other side of the world. This position interfaces with Asia vendors frequently in the evening.
- Able to commute and be in Clarksville office 1-2 days per week.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills are essential for analyzing historical data, market trends, and demand patterns. You must be an Excel guru.
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
- A track record of high achievement in your past roles.
- An obsession with attention to detail and a relentless drive to automate and optimize tasks.
- Ability to operate quickly and smartly within an autonomous environment.
- Fast learner and adopter of new software. Ability to quickly master programs.
- Highly adaptable, easily acclimating to a rapidly changing business and industry.

Location: This is a Hybrid role, 20% in office (Clarksville, TN), 80% remote.
