Scientist II

NSF is looking to add experienced Chemistry Scientists II - HPLC Group. The ideal candidate would have good lab skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Specifically, experience with TLC is bonus for this role. Shift as follow: Monday- Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm with a 10% shift premium offered for working 2nd shift.

Responsibilities:

• Perform analytical laboratory procedures following defined processes and standard operating procedures.
• Perform basic instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Follow quality and documentation requirements for all laboratory work.
• Follow all safety and ethics requirements.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in a directly related science field or an equivalent combination of experience and coursework.
• 1 to 5 years of related experience in an analytical testing laboratory.
• Knowledge of standard lab procedures and instrumentation including HPLC and/or Ion Chromatography.
• Able to work well in a production team environment with strong organizational skills.
• Consistent attention to detail and verbal/written communication skills.
• Computer skills with laboratory LIMS and instrumentation software.
• Must be a US Citizen or eligible to work in the US withOUT sponsorship of any sort now or in the future
