Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Moldmaker/Toolmaker responsible for manufacturing and repairing precision tools, and molds. The day-to-day tasks include all aspects of mold building from operating machinery, measuring and inspecting parts, troubleshooting tools, final assembly and fitting of molds, and collaborating with the engineering team. The role requires an experienced skilled person with 3-5 years minimum of industry knowledge and a background in Plastic Mold building and repairs.
Qualifications
- Experience in moldmaking and machining
- Proficiency in operating various machine tools
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (Not a requirement but helpful)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Understanding of metalworking processes and materials
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and quality standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
