We're hiring a Plant Manager for a manufacturing company in Franklin Park.
Pay starts at $100,000+ with additional pay based on experience.
This is an excellent direct hire opportunity with a full benefits package.
Job Duties of the Plant Manager:
- Maintain production records, job documentation, surface area to maximize plating effectiveness.
- Schedule process tank maintenance to ensure maximum chemical efficiencies
- Maintain auxiliary equipment as needed including plating bath filters, heat exchangers, chemical feed controllers, probes, and temperature controllers.
- Communicate with analytical laboratory for chemical addition recommendations
- Must be flexible on schedule depending on production demand
- Communicate with Quality Assurance Director per ISO needs.
- Enforce environmental and safety rules for the department.
- Scheduling machine operation to meet production demands.
- Responding to customer inquiries on order status.
- Maintenance scheduling for all preventative maintenance and building maintenance.
Qualifications of the Plant Manager:
- 5+ years of experience in metal finishing or electroplating industry.
- Certified Electroplater-Finisher designation is preferred.
- Excellent supervisory and management skills.
- High mechanical aptitude and the ability to maneuver a fork truck.
- Self-motivated with high organizational skills
