Hotel Park Ave is the newest property to be operated by Lore Group, an international hospitality company that designs, transforms, manages and operates hotel and food and drink concepts in notable cities across Europe and the United States. We deliver approachable and inspired spaces to our guests from around the world – thoughtful design and interesting use of space is at the core of everything we do.


As we prepare for our relaunch in 2025, we are looking for a Director of Sales to join our leadership team. The Director of Sales is responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that will increase revenue for the hotel. This includes developing relationships with key accounts, generating leads, and closing deals. The Director of Sales also works closely with the marketing team to create and implement marketing campaigns that will drive traffic to the hotel.


Key Responsibilities as Director of Sales:


  • Establishes personal presence in the local market by actively promoting an exemplary property/company image, involving oneself in the local community, by developing strategic alliances with local businesses, and customers.
  • Analyse market trends and identify opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
  • Develop pricing strategies, sales tactics, and promotions to achieve revenue targets.
  • Monitor and analyse competitors' sales and marketing activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to promote the hotel and generate leads.
  • Explores new business opportunities; develops business plans designed to maximize sales, guest satisfaction, profitability, and employee engagement.
  • Delivers strong commercial and financial acumen skills (i.e. deep understanding of sales and revenue).
  • Provides regional/ Lore team with in-depth analysis of property sales performance, incorporating guest, financial and appropriate business data.
  • Reviews all business related data such as sales / financial performance and market conditions.
  • Ability to ensure business plans are aligned with the values and objectives for both the property and Lore Group.
  • The Director of Sales will ensure that the values are regularly communicated and adopted by all team members as well as being the focal point of all product evolution, strategy, business planning and reviews.
  • Ability to coach teams by providing specific feedback and creating an open and transparent environment.
  • Creates a cohesive and high-performing sales team that continuously strives for positive results and improvement.
  • Creates and executes effective development plans for both direct reports and ensures all managers are doing the same for their direct reports.


Professional / personal qualifications:


  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in hotel sales & marketing, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue and achieving sales targets.
  • Detailed knowledge of local market competition.
  • Strong visibility at appropriate sales trade events / shows.
  • Has strong connections both within the local market and the segments that the hotels target.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a sales team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Experience in developing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies.
  • Ability to travel as required.
