LHH is partnering with a regional law firm in seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Docket Clerk to join the firm in their Irvine office. The ideal candidate is well-versed in heavy calendaring, has exceptional organizational skills, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is essential. With a minimum of 3 years of experience in a litigation setting, the candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth progression of our cases.


Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently schedule court appearances and depositions with precision.
  • Take charge of comprehensive calendaring, managing attorneys' schedules, appointments, deadlines, and alerts.
  • Establish effective communication channels with opposing counsel, court clerks, experts, and vendors.
  • Foresee imminent case milestones and proactively prepare necessary documents.
  • Execute filing tasks meticulously, adhering to timelines and organizational standards.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience within the realm of litigation.
  • Strong command of computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities, adept at juggling multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Proficient communication to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Knowledge of appellate, federal, state, and local rules and procedures as well as litigation terminology.
  • Proficiency in calendar/docketing software; CompuLaw experience preferred.
  • Ability to research hearings/deadlines using state and federal court websites.
