My client is a 20-person STEM EdTech that links schools' curriculums to students through interactive games and quizzes.


The engineering team is 4 people, with them all being strong full-stack engineers. They're now searching for a dedicated Frontend Engineer who can come on board to lead frontend architecture in Angular.


You will report to the CTO and have lots of autonomy in how you want to go about doing things.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, and other modern web technologies.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring application
  • security.
  • Maintain and improve the existing codebase with a focus on performance and reusability.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members, and mentoring junior developers.
  • Stay abreast of developments in web technologies and continuously improve your skills and knowledge.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development with strong experience in angular
  • Ideally, some experience in a similar company setting, being the Senior frontend developer with high levels of responsibility and autonomy required
  • 5+ years of experience integrating with APIs (preferably GraphQL)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • A strong passion for using tech for good, especially in Education
