WHY THIS JOB: DIRECTOR OF PEOPLE AND CULTURE

Leading real estate development and design firm seeks a Director of People and Culture to join its team. The organization has been in business for over 15 years and has become the go-to resource for projects ranging from $15M - $60M in size. The Director of People and Culture will embrace a vibrant outdoor company culture, the Director of People and Culture will seamlessly integrate with all departments. As the Director of People and Culture, you will not only oversee all HR functions but also embody and nurture the company's unique culture, evolving in tandem with its growth.


What You’ll Actually Do:

  • Understand and embody the values and culture of the company
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction that aligns with the company culture
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage HR-related risks and implement measures to mitigate them
  • Think outside of the box to stay ahead of the HR game
  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices
  • Ad Hoc as assigned


To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

  • HR Degree or related field is preferred, but not required
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Understanding of HR laws & Regulations
  • Construction or related background is a plus but not required
  • SHRM or PHR certification is a plus


Where and How Much:

  • Hybrid – Big Sky, MT or Bozeman, MT
  • Target Compensation $140K - $160K + Discretionary bonus
  • PTO | Health Insurance | 401k with Company match
