The Occupational Therapist reports to the Lead Occupational Therapist and is responsible for providing clients and their families with therapeutic services to help them develop and improve their occupational engagement in a spectrum of settings including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university with an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Master’s preferred.
- Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Nevada. Preferred California licensure for telehealth services is optimal.
- Current Basic Life Support certification in accordance with Nevada state regulations.
- A minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Previous experience with and/or knowledge of varying mental health conditions preferred.
Requirements:
- Must pass a federal background check at hire and every 3 years.
- Must adhere to a drug-free workplace.
- Demonstrate maturity of judgment, attitude, and life skills.
- Must demonstrate an ability to adapt to change and remain flexible.
- Must be a strong team player that works well in a busy environment.
- Must have strong communication skills and be upbeat, positive, and professional when interacting with clients, providers, and fellow co-workers.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time unsupervised & independently.
