DYNAMIC SOLUTIONS PEDIATRIC PHYSICAL & OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY is a pediatric outpatient practice located in Brooklyn, NY (Carroll Gardens and Park Slope). Our mission is to provide high-quality, evidenced based physical and occupational therapy services to children with neurological and developmental disorders, including but not limited to, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, and Down syndrome.


Role Description

This is a full-time/ part time, on-site role for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will implement treatment plans for children with a variety of developmental disorders to improve their daily living skills and promote their ability to participate in meaningful and enjoyable activities. You will also be responsible for reporting and monitoring the progress of each patient and implementing new therapeutic programs and techniques as needed.


Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Active and valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in New York State
  • Pediatric experience, particularly experience working with children with neurological and developmental disorders
  • Strong understanding of sensory integration theory, developmental milestones, and how to adapt activities to meet the unique needs of each child
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other related professionals within the clinic and with outside providers
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Passion for working with children and their families
