  • Shipbuilding/Maritime background
  • Software (must haves)
  • AutoCAD
  • Ship-constructor.

  • Electrical background working with cable and wire ways.
  • Ability to problem solve for technical issues.

Background/Education

  • Associate degree preferred (Engineering related degree)

Day to day:

  • This person will be sitting on the electrical functional detail design group.
  • They will be outfitting the electrical components.
  • Receive engineering change notices and start working on them.
  • Turn functional design drawings to create a detailed design drawing.
  • Understand 2D layouts and turn those into 3D models.
  • Pass these layouts and designs to the production team for them to start building the ships.
