Job Title: Lead Software EngineerLocation: Plano, TexasType: Full TimeOur client is looking for a Lead Software Engineer who thrives in building scalable, cloud-native solutions and driving innovation.What You’ll DoLead multiple projects and guide a team specializing in distributed microservices and full-stack systems.Collaborate with product teams to deliver robust, cloud-based solutions that create exceptional user experiences.Stay ahead of tech trends, experiment with emerging tools, and actively engage in tech communities.Mentor engineers and occasionally review or write code to ensure quality and best practices.Work with modern technologies like Java, Python, Go, Node.js, Scala, SQL/NoSQL databases, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and AWS services.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.4+ years of professional software engineering experience.1+ year of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in a relevant field.7+ years of experience in one or more programming languages (Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js).2+ years of experience with cloud services.4+ years working with open-source frameworks.1+ year of people management experience.2+ years of experience in Agile environments.
