Company Overview: Located in the heart of Houston, a leading Commercial General Contractor specializing in Ground-Up Commercial projects, with a strong focus on K-12 educational facilities is looking for a seasoned Superintendent. In addition to K-12, they also excel in Healthcare, Public Sector, and Sports facilities construction. Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join the dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects valued at $15M and above, with a focus on Ground-Up Commercial construction. As a Superintendent with the company, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of projects, upholding our commitment to excellence and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of construction projects, from planning to execution, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain efficient workflow and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety, and quality control.
  • Implement and enforce OSHA regulations and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Utilize your expertise in K-12 projects to ensure the successful delivery of educational facilities to the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent, managing projects from $15M and above, with a focus on Ground-Up Commercial construction.
  • Strong tenure with a minimum of 5+ years at previous companies, demonstrating commitment and reliability.
  • OSHA 30 certification is mandatory.
  • Experience with K-12 projects is highly desirable, showcasing your understanding of the unique requirements of educational facilities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for excellence and a dedication to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
