We are currently seeking to add an Digital Product Copywriter to our team. As a member of the Digital Experience Design (DXD) team, you’ll partner closely with Design, Content, Product, Marketing, and other business partners to create user focused online product copy on Cetera’s AdviceWorks digital platform.


What you will do:

• Write clear and easy to understand copy with a distinct voice that support multiple user workflows.

• Write clear and engaging content describing financial product usage and workflows.

• Create copywriting briefs to understand project requirements.

• Collaborate with various business teams on large and small-scale projects.

• Edit and proofread copy as needed.

• Ensure all content we produce is true to the product and consistent with our brand voice.

• Update product descriptions as needed (both on our platform and other online resources).

• Align with existing frameworks, including our voice and style guides and glossary, and helping to evolve these resources as needed.

• Use or conduct research for identifying user confusion/clarity and other copy needs and incorporating insights into your work.

• You gracefully manage feedback from multiple stakeholders and apply sound judgment in incorporating revisions.

• You’re comfortable advocating for your point of view in a candid, feedback-driven culture.

• Collaborate with designers to suggest appealing graphics that complement text.

What you will have:

• 5+ years of copywriting experience for digital products (not marketing websites) for a technology/online digital products organization.

• 2+ years of experience in the Financial or Wealth Management industry.

• Portfolio of writing samples.

• Knowledge of SEO principles, online content strategy and content creation.

• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.

• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. Drupal, etc.).

• An analytical mind with a problem-solving attitude and a keen eye for details.

• BSc/BA in Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.


Compensation

The base annual salary range for this role is $85,000 to $120,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
