HTC Underwriter

Our client has put $7B to work in Historic Tax Credits (HTC's) since its founding 40 years ago. It is a nationally recognized impact platform with a smart, vibrant, Charlotte-based team.

We are helping them hire an Underwriter for their Real Estate division. This person will underwrite historic rehab projects, assessing returns, risks and overall attractiveness of each opportunity. If the client issues a term sheet, this person will coordinate due diligence, analyze results, identify risks and mitigants, and coordinate the closing.

The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of experience in HTC and/or LIHTC underwriting. They must have excellent tine management, organization, writing and Excel skills. They must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a strong work ethic.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that the candidate will be in the Charlotte office at least 2-3 days per week.
