Key Responsibilities:


  • Bill of Materials (BOM) Management: Oversee and maintain accurate BOMs, ensuring all components, specifications, and production requirements are clearly defined and aligned with the manufacturing process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing production efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality. Use Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manufacturing Support: Provide engineering support to production teams, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical solutions to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing processes.
  • Process Design & Optimization: Analyze production processes, identify bottlenecks, and develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure alignment across departments, resolving challenges, and driving efficiency.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create and update technical documentation, process flows, and standard operating procedures. Regularly report on project status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance metrics to senior leadership.
  • Training & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and manufacturing teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing engineering
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience in packaging manufacturing or a similar heavy-duty production environment is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
