The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with inverters, motor drives, or switching power supplies and must be a U.S. citizen due to the nature of the work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 60 engineers, including direct management of managers.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of inverters, motor drives, and switching power supplies.
  • Ensure all engineering projects meet stringent quality and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and meet organizational goals.
  • Establish and implement engineering policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Manage budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to the engineering team.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies and competitive products in the field of power electronics.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of necessary equipment and materials.
  • Present reports on the department’s progress and projects to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in designing and managing inverters, motor drives, or switching power supplies.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing large teams.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time in Anaheim, California.
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $240,000 to $260,000, plus performance-based bonuses.
