ACS Manufacturing is a state-of-the-art design build manufacturer of acoustical equipment enclosures, fuel tanks, turbine systems and skids. ACS Manufacturing, Inc. has one of the largest facilities in the industry, nearly 300,000 square feet on 36 acres in Denison, Texas and has expanded its operation to 150,000 square feet facility in Abbeville, SC.

Job Summary: Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problems, and determines and implements solutions in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities/Duties: IT Specialist

• Provide technical assistance and support for issues related to computer systems, software and hardware.
• Respond to issues either in person, phone, or electronically.
• Train computer users.
• Ask questions to determine the nature of problem.
• Install, modify, repair, and/or reload computer hardware and software.
• Clean Shop computers.
• Install computer peripherals for users.
• Follow up with users to ensure the issue has been resolved.
• Administer Help Desk System
• Administer Camera System
• Active Directory Administration
• Office 365 Administration
• Install, repair and clean security cameras as needed
• Maintain printer toner inventory and order as needed
• Maintain HCM terminals and supplies
• Helps install local area network systems and equipment such as network interface cards, switches and cables.
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrates good listening skills
• General cleaning in the area
• Obey the safety standards of ACS and follow local, state, and federal regulations
• Responsible for any other tasks that may arise

Minimum Requirements/Experience:

• Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical computer-related problems
• Make distinction between Level One and Level Two end-user problems
• Identify, evaluate and solve end-user workstation problems
• Support and train end-users in a wide range of software applications as needed
• Read, understand and apply technical information
• Must pass a drug screen and background check for employment

Work Environmental & Physical Demand:

• May stand or sit for long periods of up to 12 hours.
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. repetitively, as well as frequent twisting and bending, to meet fast paced work demands
