Assist in the daily operations of Security for the Distribution Facility. Ensure that all Physical Security requirements are followed and enforced as company policies mandates.


Essential Functions/Responsibilities:


  1. Able to respond to 24 hour emergencies, alarm activations or crisis / incidents.
  2. Monitor CCTV equipment and ensure functionality of equipment by conducting daily and monthly test on alarms, Digital Video Recording’s and all Physical Security Equipment.
  3. Responsible to ensure that all operation logs and event console activity are monitored to determine cause of security-related events or to identify potential security-related events.
  4. Assist in Security or Safety related investigations.
  5. Conduct opening and closing of facility. Arm and Disarm Alarm system and ensure facility is ready for business operations and secure for the close of business.
  6. Conduct Safety audits throughout the facility including updating all fire extinguishers and monitoring all exits for obstructions. Participate in Safety Meetings and assist with evacuation processes in event of Incident.
  7. Assist in administering policies to effectively protect company assets. Monitor current security procedures and make recommendations based on potential issues identified that can impact the protection of company assests.
  8. Partner with in house management team on any security and safety matters related to daily operations.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

1.) Education and/or Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent; or 1-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Other Education and/or Experience:
  • Security Management and Investigations
  • Florida State Security Class D license
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License


2.) Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interprets documents according to company standards.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, or the business community.


3.) Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Ability to interpret mathematical data and results.


4.) Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
