Job Overview:

As the Director of E-commerce, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive growth strategy that drives customer acquisition, engagement, and retention, while maximizing ROI. This is a full time, hybrid position reporting to a Co-Founder.


Key Responsibilities include the following and all other assigned duties:

  • Accountable, but not responsible, for all E-commerce channels, including the Website, E-mail/Retention, META, Google, and SEO.
  • Own DTC growth metrics for the business, including revenue growth, CAC, MER, and retention. Develop and execute a growth marketing strategy across paid and owned channels.
  • Day-to-day lead with agencies and other external digital marketing partners 
  • Optimize pricing and merchandising strategy.
  • Collaborate with the web developer and UX agency to optimize the website and core funnel metrics
  • Collaborate with in-house design and marketing team to develop a comprehensive marketing and promotional plan across all channels.
  • Research, launch, and test new marketing channels
  • Lead clear communication and alignment with Marketing, Product Development, Operations, Wholesale, Customer Service, and Finance teams.
  • Develop and manage a budget and negotiate contracts with vendors as needed.


Other Requirements                                          

  • 5+ years of growth marketing experience, with a proven track record of driving customer acquisition and engagement for a fast-growing eCommerce company
  • Strong communication skills and hunger for the role
  • Experience with performance marketing channels, including paid search, paid social, email, and other acquisition channels.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to develop/analyze KPIs and make data-driven decisions
  • Familiarity with analytics and marketing technology, including Google Analytics, Meta, and Klaviyo
  • Familiarity with and experience building in Shopify’s suite of products and 3rd party apps
