Sourcing Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Product Sourcing Specialist to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for finding high-quality products from reliable suppliers worldwide, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring timely delivery to support our company's operations and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research to identify potential suppliers globally, evaluating their capabilities, reliability, and suitability to meet our product requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive costs, favorable payment terms, and adherence to quality standards.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, monitoring delivery schedules, quality, and service levels to meet our business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, quality assurance, and logistics to ensure seamless sourcing and procurement processes.
• Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and industry dynamics to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, ethical sourcing practices, and company policies throughout the sourcing process.
• Maintain accurate records of supplier information, contracts, and pricing to support decision-making and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; relevant certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) preferred.
• 5 years of experience in product sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a global or multi-national company.
• Proven track record of successfully sourcing and negotiating contracts for a variety of products across different categories.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience working with procurement software or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and import/export documentation preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
