Treasury Manager


Location: Seguin, Texas

  • Travel: Minimal, primarily for acquisitions-related activities.


Position Summary:

The Treasury Manager, reporting to the VP-Tax and Treasury, is responsible for overseeing all treasury operations. This includes daily cash management, cash forecasting, improving treasury processes and controls, and maintaining strong relationships with key members of the finance department, including Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and corporate controllers.


Responsibilities:

  • Cash Management: Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, including cash forecasting, overseeing disbursements, and managing cash balances across multiple accounts.
  • Liquidity Planning: Develop strategies to ensure sufficient liquidity for daily operations and future business needs, coordinating with other departments to optimize cash usage.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate, foreign exchange, and credit risks. Develop and implement risk management policies.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct cash flow forecasting, financial modeling, and scenario analysis to provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Capital Structure: Collaborate on internal capital structure initiatives, including dividends, intercompany financing, M&A transactions, and corporate restructuring.
  • Audits and Internal Controls: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process efficiency, automation, and optimization.
  • Team Management: Supervise and develop support staff.

  • Advanced analytical and computer skills, particularly in Excel and Word.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, as necessary.

Education and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field is required.
  • Certification: Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) required. Candidates scheduled to take the exam are also considered.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive treasury experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
