RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all phases of construction projects, from initial planning to final completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and other site personnel, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
  • Monitor all aspects of the construction process to ensure work meets quality standards and specifications, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
  • Enforce safety protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and minimizing workplace accidents.
  • Develop and maintain construction schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate delays or changes in project scope
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the project owner, architect, engineers, and other stakeholders, facilitating clear and timely communication.
  • Quickly identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the job site, minimizing disruptions and delays.
  • Manage materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring they are available and properly maintained for efficient project progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and any changes to project scope or specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, tracking expenses to ensure cost-effective project execution.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local building codes, permits, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to secure necessary materials, negotiate contracts, and oversee deliveries to the site.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • General knowledge and experience of construction ranging from footings, walls, etc.
  • Willingness to travel locally throughout New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania
  • Working knowledge of purchase orders and submittal schedule
