Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join a leading manufacturer of medical equipment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of finance experience, with a strong focus on financial planning and analysis. This role involves managing all aspects of the monthly financial close process, including journal entries, non-GAAP accounting adjustments, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance/trend analysis.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Financial Close Process:
  • Prepare and post necessary journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Conduct non-GAAP accounting adjustments to align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial integrity and accuracy.
  • Analyze monthly financial results, identifying variances and trends to provide insightful commentary and recommendations.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and improve financial models and forecasts.
  • Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational plans.
  • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and revenue growth.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the manufacturing or medical equipment industry.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and non-GAAP accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting techniques.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems and financial software is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
