Seasonal Graphic Artist

 eCard Systems is a full-service premium plastic gift card program and accessories provider and transaction processor serving more than 150,000 merchants in the U.S. and Canada, in the restaurant, retail, and hospitality industries.

In addition to gift cards, the company offers an entire packaging system designed for maximum in-store visibility and profitability.

If you enjoy working with a wide variety of artwork styles and making quick design decisions while nailing the details, we have seasonal positions open in our graphics department that could be a great fit for you. These are temporary, full-time, hourly positions from September to late December with the possibility of overtime. These positions are remote but we hire locally for in-person training. Specific end date in December is determined by level of demand in final weeks.

Job Description / Day to Day

·      Create high-volume gift card and packaging layouts for a variety of merchant customers

·      Prepare and upload electronic proofs for merchant review, approval or changes

·      Work with internal salespeople and merchants to implement artwork changes & new proofs

·      Review customer-supplied art and optimize as needed to meet production specs

·      Produce error-free and production-ready files for prepress

Requirements & Personal Abilities

·      High level of experience in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat in an Apple environment

·      Ability to catch errors and perform quick and accurate preflight of production files

·      Design and prepare art files for gift card and merchandising products

·      Experience with digital 4-color workflow

·      Ability to work quickly, efficiently and creatively in a variety of styles

·      Excellent verbal and written communication ability

·      Highly reliable and collaborative team player who can also work independently
