We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery, ensuring product quality, and supporting a safe and efficient production environment. As a key member of the production team, you will help meet production goals while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment to ensure smooth, efficient production processes.
  • Load materials, ingredients, or components into machines and ensure proper setup according to production specifications.
  • Conduct routine quality checks to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor production output and make adjustments to equipment as necessary to meet targets.
  • Document production data, including quantities produced, quality checks, and machine performance.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines and equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, report safety hazards, and contribute to a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to address production issues and ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Assist with troubleshooting minor equipment issues and report more significant problems to maintenance teams.
  • Adhere to company policies and ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus but not required.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a production environment with exposure to noise and temperature variations.

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to factory conditions, including noise, dust, and temperature variations.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on the area of work.
  • Must be able to work in shifts, with potential overtime and weekend work as needed.
