Claims Specialist

Pride Health is hiring a Claims Specialist for one of its clients in Kansas.

This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of hiring with competitive pay and benefits.

Location – Olathe, Kansas (66061)

Length of assignment – 3 months (Possibility of Contract to hire)

Pay range - $20 - $24 per hour.

Shift – 8 hours Schedule, Monday - Friday (can choose to start time 7 am, 7:30, or 8 am, but will remain the same moving forward)

Job Duties

• Must be able to perform the professional, clinical, and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department
• Confirms receipt of daily billing files by the claim’s clearinghouse.
• Research and resolve any claim rejections within designated timeframes.
• Reports any claim rejection trends or delays to management.
• Submits paper claims and supporting documentation as required by payers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have 1 year of Physician claims experience.
• 2 years of Physician Accounting Experience preferred.
• 1500 Claims and Denial experience.
• Ability to work in multiple computer systems (Cerner, Epic, & Claims Scrub system).
• Good typing skills. Ability to manage 120 claims daily.
