Job Summary:

We are a leading subcontractor for Dish, seeking experienced and customer-oriented Independent Contractors to join our team as Dish Satellite TV Installers. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in technical installations and are passionate about enhancing customers' home entertainment and security through cutting-edge technology. As a 1099 contractor, you will play a key role in providing Dish TV installation services while offering additional smart home solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair Dish Satellite TV systems, ensuring a high-quality signal and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct site surveys to determine optimal placement of satellite dishes and equipment for maximum signal reception.
  • Offer customers additional smart home solutions, such as TV mounts, security cameras, smart doorbells, and other devices to enhance their home setup.
  • Educate customers on the use and benefits of Dish TV services and smart home products, ensuring a smooth and seamless user experience.
  • Maintain and manage inventory of equipment, tools, and materials; keep accurate records of work orders and customer interactions.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during installations and while driving between job sites.


Qualifications:

  • Contractor Status: Must be an independent contractor (1099), responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and work-related expenses.
  • Transportation: Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
  • Equipment: Must own necessary tools, ladder, and a smartphone with an active data plan for communication and documentation.
  • Experience: Prior experience in satellite dish installations, home theater setups, or smart home technology is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent technical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Work Style: Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and complete work orders within assigned deadlines.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer needs.
